Applicant credit scores should be treated with a high level of care and should not be handed out when they aren't assured that you are locking them up and taking due care with private and sensitive data.So, many places, including the screening company we used for years before moving to a PM, provide a suitability score rather than the actual credit score.

Because it's my money, I care more (I get 92% of the revenue, PM only 8%, and PM team member near 0%), I only had my units to manage (PM team member has other owners and units), and, with humility, I am smarter and harder working than the team members assigned to my portfolio (3rd party PM has to hire at a level that makes the business model financially work for them).

IF that is the case full stop - yes you are paying for something called insurance but if you have a claim the company has the right to pretty much deny coverage for having the wrong type of policy.Landlord policies are higher cost but for a reason - there is a different and increased level of risk when the house is not owner occupied.Talk with your agent and get all the details sorted out.
