If we want to compare careers, I really would not get into that if I was you nor will I engage. 

I happened to be someone who experienced this first hand  selling close to 30 towards the beginning of my real estate investing career nd know quite a few peers who experienced the same sale process.There is no way the data you pulled accounts for concessions.

I would say earned it.I will check out bank financing.

Investors are angry Capella earned over $100K in origination fees on that deal and claim Capella did not do adequate due diligence, disclose conflicts of interest, and acted in their borrowers interest and not the investors interest.I know others who invested in a problem Capella loan for a golf course with water rights and multiple home lots.

I've also bought over 20 round-trip flights with points in the last 6-7 years.Most programs teach how to sign up for new cards and earn the bonus points.

The definition of each class is heavily weighed on the income level that tenants earn in those areas.

I understand this career it would be helpful to have a degree but I have also learned that some people learn more and progress more by doing. 

@Mike Dymski, in my experience raising institutional capital early in my career, I would disagree about "following a sponsor" for years, and actually many of the deal level analytics (a majority of institutional investors invest in funds not deals), but your point is generally correct.Ultimately, what I see a lot on these forums is that a lot of people are relying on the investment manager to also educate them on macro economic conditions, which will always carry a natural bias towards their types of offerings.
