Hello, So back in 2020 my wife and I purchased a 2 family home.

My Wife and I spent 50k up front doing a very big presentation in San Jose CA and got about 200 investors to come..

We did look at brokenbow, beautiful area but it looks like there is a lot of competition there now.  

Like replacing the doors/ locks, etc. and  its getting frustrating.Whenever I articulate my frustrations to my wife it causes friction within our relationship I want to get this house rented asap but I wanted to get a barometer to see if perhaps my expectations are a bit unrealistic , especially with consideration that no one could get in the house due to the fleas until recently.

My wife and I bring our own pods to every STR, surprisingly only about 30% have Keurig and it always bums us out.

To maximize the living space, we worked closely with the city to create egress window codes, allowing us to add an additional bedroom, a beautifully finished bathroom, and a family room in the basement.

My wife of 20 yrs is currently pregnant with our first child and I want to get us out of debt and build our savings.

Skipping ahead many months, I'm happy to report that half of the equity wiped out by the lien was recovered which made a big difference for these folks who were looking to retire.We purchased the house when my wife was 8 months pregnant.

That’s the approach that I’m taking with me and my wife.

I’ve now gotten my wife excited about REI and we’re taking action.
