I'm not sure if you've completed a loan application with a lender yet, but one of the things we look at with your pre-approval on a VA loan is your residual income (not just your debt-to-income ratio). 

Also is this on-going contamination or has it stopped and is just residual? 

Sometimes you can first heat the panel to soften whatever adhesive was used. 

The space is very valuable to a new dentist that can capitalize on residual business from the dentist that is leaving.  

Your spouse could be sitting on a beach with you one day living on your residual income, or living in the basement of that bad 4-plex you bought . . .

I assume you are referring to the ones HD sells with the adhesive tabs that overlay the tab on the other plank.

If you use a high quality construction adhesive it might stay up longer (the glue that comes on these tiles is terrible) but I still think you'll see peeling around the seams.
