The quote comes in at $4,850 to get the property back into acceptable condition without all of the trim and door repairs/replacement.Do you pay the ~$5,000 and renew the lease for tenants that pay on time or start fresh (with repairs and finding a new tenant)?

Hi everyone,I live in NYC and purchased my grandparents’ house in Baltimore, in Ednor Gardens (nice area close to MSU, Montebello Lake)  July of 2023.

I'm considering a 2 bedroom garden condo as a STR and would love to hear your thoughts.   

Mostly small things, biggest things have been a new electric panel, appliances for one unit, fresh paint for one unit, new garage doors.

Clean living and sustainability is a great fresh approach to our business.

All the expenses (roof, gardener, prop tax, etc. are split at 60/40)

Have them stay at a hotel for a month and get all the repairs done and then start fresh with a pretext of listing the unit to the public.

I am still 100% fresh, but so far it seems legit and I am getting really excited.
