I'm finalizing my Remodeling TODO List, and thanks to all your advice, have parsed it down to:1)  Cleaning2)  Painting (Interior)3)  Flooring (remove all signs of carpet)4)  Baths (just replace countertop and faucets - nice and shiny :)  Repair the rest.5)  Lightings (update to make the rooms brighter) OR maybe just high-wattage light bulbsLooks like my trip to Austin will be very focused and productive now.  

. , I looked and found most of the motion sensing lights to be outdoor wall or eave mount versions with high wattage flood bulbs which are not appropriate for use in a such a small indoor room.

One simple way to create a warm environment is to increase the wattage of the bulbs used in light fixtures to 100 watts.

First point: We have "rigged" up a high wattage generator that stays on our truck now that can plug into the meter box and get power to the entire home to check systems.

While things like the rooms are too dark, allow you to get some high wattage bulbs, lighter drapes and paint them white. 

if so, can i get a specific wattage baseboard? 

My handyman told me this happens when tenants put light bulbs in sockets that have too high a wattage for the lamp. 

I'd start with the lower wattage heaters first. 

They have options for the heaters that look just like a register for central air, and they have them in many different wattages.  

The kits include compact fluorescent light bulbs of various wattages, LED night lights, smart power strip, whistle that attaches to your HVAC air filter and alerts you when it's time to change the filter, low flow shower heads, dryer vent cleaning brush, water temperature thermometer, refrigerator thermometer, weatherstripping, caulking, foam pipe insulators, window film, rain gauges, etc.
