Reeves county is mostly Oil and Gas, but all around that area Solar Energy is starting to come in, and there is always wind turbines further to the east in Pecos County.  

This is largely due to contractors building the wind turbines and nursing staff for the local nursing home.

Just to add to the conversation....I was in Ponca City ( 1 hour north of OKC) yesterday and there are wind turbines going up everywhere.

There's plenty of sun in Houston so I'm thinking solar can have great potential, also some decent wind so maybe wind turbines if somehow possible.

I have seen too many bathrooms with poor ventilation and the resulting mold/mildew/paint flaking from sheetrock, etc.Again on the older homes, I typically wind up adding a turbine or two to the roof to improve the air flow and lower the temperature in the attic.

Oil field, wind turbine, traveling nurses are all in demand right now.

I have another property that has a chance to get some wind turbines... that's where the real money is.  

They would like to create cash flow from the land by leasing it to a clean energy company that would add solar panels or wind turbines in turn leasing the land from them.
