Labor/material are going to be different and need to factor that in4) new roof, new HVAC, new water heater, ac panel, replacing plumbing to PVCThese are very variable, if you are getting this from a licensed guy to do it and unlicensed.. is it a big shop or a local shop doing it, is the GC doing it they will put some money on the top so it will be more money5) framing (creating new bedrooms or baths)I would get all these quoted from a good couple of licensed guys and unlicensed to know your numbers to cents

We have had work crews from a local lab and solar farm (separate bookings, obviously) for 3-8 weeks that rent the whole house in the offseason.

Plus, they look so much nicer than a bunch of panels glued to the wall.For existing bathtubs, do a tile surround.

Its not near any major cities where someone might look at it as a long play for path of progress.Another option might be to see if a solar farm or wind farm company might be interested once its clear cut. 

What about land use and zoning policies that exclude affordable housing or even the high cost of living.Did you know that since January 1, 2020, California requires new construction homes to have solar panels?

The STR loophole would work on the properties above, and then I could connect you to my CPA who has some great strategies like investing in Solar to keep more of your money.
