Another friend needs to renovate his house but can't get anyone to do it, it's brutal.Plumbers, roofers, lawncare, there's no one available to do this work bc there's waaayyyy too many Airbnbs for the local labor market to support.Not to mention the dire shortage of cleaners and handymen.

Watch a team of roofers come in and they can strip a roof and lay a new one in 10 hours.i had 3 guys dig a 12 x 6x 40 foot deep hole in a mostly sandy yard replace sewer line and refill in a day.

The process is the same that is used on commercial properties but it is advisable to have it completed by a commercial roofing company rather than a general roofer like Everseal.

Maybe the roof blows off in a storm before the end of its service life and all of the roofers are charging double and triple rates, and if you don't replace it the rain will come in and destroy your ceilings and your renters will leave and you will not have anyone as a customer for your business because the interior is destroyed.

You could have a few things driving the cost:-Location - if the house is more remote the contractor will have higher costs to get out there (gas, lodging, limited resources) or if you are using a local guy he might be higher because he knows there are fewer competitors -El Nino - the roofers we use are all busy because people are rushing to get work done before the rains hit.
