Although I realize a lot of investors don't necessarily need a graduate degree, I'm wondering if anyone here has an MBA and did a RE program.

I can't speak to the Universities RE program but would highly recommend you start networking now with local Utah investors.

I'm sure you have to take a test in your new state but do you have to do the entire RE program for that state?

When I was contemplating going back to school the head of the RE program at Ohio State basically told me that given my practicing knowledge and experience I could probably teach the program.Bottom line - if you're trying to break into the industry, establish your fundamental skill set and build a network then school is likely a solid choice - otherwise you can learn the same things from textbooks/public knowledge and applying that research to publicly listed information.Hope that helps and feel free to connect if you'd like to discuss this further

You need to start inside your head, reprogram your thinking with constant uplifting, motivating books and audio, turn off the boob tube, 86 sports, and other distractions, and listen to some BP podcasts as there are plenty of people making it part time.

Those are great ways to invest money and there is nothing wrong with them, but being that I am in RE program at VCU I would like to see is there way to invest my extra funds that I have into some sort of program that is geared toward RE.

Many tenants come to use "trained the wrong way" from a previous landlord, so we have to "reprogram" them - most important: I want to know right away if something is wrong with the house.
