I still saw a ton of STR on Airbnb regardless.Can people still get away with buying STR even if they are illegal? 

I can safely say I can fulfill my host obligation and put my STR on the market right away without any improvement and sell.

There is a chance I have to live here for the duration of my lease, which ends August 31st.to help save cash, i'm considering doing a STR on my property for 2-3 months while i have moved my stuff there and live between my new home and my current apartment. 

I also looked into the Sacramento market - if I do a combination of LTR and STR on each side of a duplex I might be able to cash flow.

Many of the STR communities are strictly for STR only, and cant be converted into LTR. specially in the Davenport areaI am a bit concerned about the quality of the schools in the area as I know that affects families staying long term in an area. 

AirDna seems to be the goto place for rather accurate data.My STR on Dauphin Island generates about 50k yearly. 

Don't rush to turn a STR on immediately.
