They snuck under the rules by claiming that private individuals had the right to offer other private individuals the service.So again, how do these cities get away with regulating people's abilities to rent their homes on a short term basis?

Yes, these are great for meeting people and networking and learning.

The number of longer term renters looking for a furnished home is a much smaller pool of people. 

What im hoping to gain from this group is knowledge i cant find anywhere else, i hope to meet people that i can help and people that can help me, I hope i can form good friendships on here, and i hope to find my first rental.

People complain about booking.com cancellations.

Our team along with clients all are heavily investing in the area, and it is a strong place to start. close proximity to New York and New Jersey, paired with extremely affordable property/taxes and high rental demand make it on most people's radar.

Any tax knowledge of if people doing this strategy are able to take the losses from the cost seg study (on the ADU) to offset their W2 income?
