Also, not just sitting and waiting for bookings to come through Airbnb or VRBO and going get them yourself can drastically help you outperform similar properties near by.

I think that blue states will tend to outperform red states for this reason - the very policies that are designed to protect tenants backfire and line the pockets of real estate investors.

But what really makes Reston Virginia such an interesting investment is the meteoric rise of the Reston Town Center, and its recent office market outperformance.
