But that same person would say don’t pay off the debt, let your tenant do it  while I’d be saying I want a smaller payment, or no payment in case income stops coming in.Guess which Bill sleeps bette:At the height of my leverage I was recently “unemployed” and had $30k/mo in mortgage payments due every month  that’s small potatoes to some people  but how long could I make those payments if they all stopped paying?

@Melanie P. we have one unit that's vacant and being marketed right now, it's not an ideal season for leasing especially in a colder area. i have sold investment property. i wouldn't personally consider tracking my net worth to be 'mental masturbation,' but potato/potato. i always appreciate others' perspectives. :)@Timothy Hero @Stephen Akindona thank you!

I am small potatoes with 40k to invest and start to build.

Without trying to be insulting, it is pretty small potatoes if you adjust your selection practices a little bit.  

We are small potatoes in this and I am wondering if anyone has any insights as to other such areas that would be a good fit as well as any knowledge of any buildings that are for sale that may work?
