Hello All,I borough my first multi family property in 2018 and during closing the previous landlord provided me with the lead certificates and I have misplaced it.

The reason I am thinking about this as opposed to making an addendum/amendment is that I may have misplaced the original leases (organization is a skillset that I need to work on); also I am thinking of doing a refi/cash out for future deals which would need these leases. 

I am wondering if it's because COVID made everyone a potential investor with misplaced bravado or if the newer investors think us old dogs don't know what we are doing anymore.

It's just misplaced hope.

It was not easy for them, and when people are stressed, they don't always act in the most tactful way (handing out letters to people on the way out).Additionally, I think a lot of the hate on Grant is somewhat misplaced. 

I'd say it's mostly misplaced frustration. 

Same thing if you're the buyer and it's the mortgage (or deed of trust) that's been misplaced.
