I am looking for a duplex or triplex where I live in one of the units, and rent out the others. 

Hello, I currently live in my home, I'm closing on a 4 unit 2bd apartment building (which I will live in one).

I raised one tenant’s rent to $1,180, invested $5,000 in renovations while living in the other unit, and found a roommate paying $750.

I am trying to buy my first live in property by mid may in Arizona.

Purchase price: $532,500 Cash invested: $106,500 I just bought a duplex on 3rd Ave on the Columbus side of Grandview and am planning on living in one side and renting out the other.

I work in Potomac, MD, and would like to buy a condo or apt that I can easily commute and live in, and then eventually rent out, and then buy another.

I choose that path because it was the fastest way to build equity and to cut my living expenses. 

With a cost segregation study your building value will be broken out into many detailed components which will have lives of 5,7,15 and 27.5/39 year  lives instead.
