The heating and cooling seems to cause the vinyl to expand and contract (especially under rugs and piles of laundry where the floor is insulated from room air)   It was especially bad with the adhesive edged LVP we got from HD.

While you wouldn't have any protection for the flood damage you incurred (sheetrock, trim, floors, insulation, electrical, contents, etc.), you would have coverage for the wind damage you incurred (roof, gutters, blown out windows, etc.).

I’m not my first deal the inspector missed a huge problem with the electrical in the attic where we ended up having to move all the blown in insulation after closing and replace all the electrical to the lights in the whole house.
