There are always people interested in starting restaurants or expanding one they have, so it would be good to know about the available space.FYI, I work with a number of people in the cannabis industry, and you're right to say "no," given that it's a primarily residential mixed-use building, which probably means kids living in the apartments.

With the rise in cannabis awareness around the country and this region being long known for its farms, does this provide a whole new market? 

The seller says the property is vacant, so I'm thinking either it will be used as a rental or cannabis grow house.

Or it could be a drug dealer who needs a few months to get a crop or two of cannabis or meth made and then leave in the middle of the night.

It's not hard to do.In the lease you can add in a clause about noise, smoking (including cannabis). 

We're not growing or selling cannabis, we're buying and selling/leasing property that would be suitable to the cannabis industry.

Who's investing in cannabis real estate? 

(In particular, I’m fielding a lot of questions about cannabis equity at the moment.)
