There needed to be fire blocking in my case as it was an old balloon frame and those have open spots in the stud cavities that go all the way up.

Double or triple that suckage for anything less than C+/B- If you wouldn’t be willing to walk there from a couple blocks away at 10PM, that’s a hard pass in any market.

So now I got a letter from an injury lawyer not in the LLC name (the property owner by LLC ) but in the name of the HoA however the LLC address not the HoA address (the law firm seems confused it idk).

But I would think they all can easily run the comps so you know the numbers you are aiming for in any given neighborhood/block/property.

I think in any market the best way to buy right is to find an area you like and canvas that area with letters, calls and door knocks, getting out and talking to people.
