Tons of my out of state clients do this from California, Washington, Oregon, New York, etc.

Just want to make sure the folks running this are not buying helicopters and jet planes with our investment.Comments welcome.   

For example because New York is a generally more expenisve market, you have larger loan buy downs, bigger dollar appreciation, etc.

I live in New York and majority of the inventory on Long Island is too expensive for even renting. 

Overwhelmingly though, the weather and weather related things were enough to offset the negatives.So, I figure a much more interesting question would be Why do people live in New York City?

I leave in the Greater New York Metropolitan area, precisely in Jersey City.

I moved to miami florida to study the economics and help apply it and it was a capital market as well. if you don't live in a capital market like Chicago, New York, Austin Texas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, california or miami florida I'd recommend moving to a market like that too. it will change your life.
