I have yet another friend in Squirrel Hill, Pittsburgh who is a Russian-Jewish refugee and he rents rooms and apartments almost exclusively to Pittsburgh's burgeoning immigrant former Soviet-Union community.

However, the new tenants are recent refugees so have been pre-qualified for HEAP, subsidized rent, free healthcare & full college tuition. 

I’ve gotten many messages from non profits housing refugees, etc.

There was a bedbug issue earlier this year because the duplex next door is filled with Somalian refugees that apparently don't bathe (according to the tenants). 

This sounds like the exact same charity we work with but for confidentiality reasons we will not say there name, but I assume that this is a Christian organization that helps refugees? 

So the next time somebody bitches about taking care of our veterans before refugees, or there not being enough money in the school budget for pencils or being unable to have money to fix our crumbling infrastructure, keep our parks open, fund some worthy program or another, ask them if they paid all the tax they were supposed to last year
