My job is our sole income and I get relocated for projects frequently so any property would have to be managed remotely (willing to invest anywhere in the states).Given the our situation above and our long term goals, I feel best next steps would be a heavy emphasis on networking and deal analysis.

I didn't even realize they had originally purchased the parcel I have the tax deed to until the heavy equipment showed up which made me look closer at deeds for sales in the area and discovered my parcel listed on the other property's deed.This is my first tax certificate/tax deed so I'm not sure what comes next.

Insurance is still an annual dog fight via my broker.Read your policy very carefully, consider replacement costs will probably be higher than estimatesResiliency is a requirement here.As far as sell or not....it'll depend on your determination to be here.This ain't the burbs of the bay area.Prepping for heavy rain right now.
