But again, around here, we have to have an approved site plan/permit and an approved building plan/permit before we can actually start construction (although occasionally we do get permission to start excavation ahead of the building permit).Good luck!

you could consider a written agreement to have permission to have access to unit until the work is completed, Its not easy to live in a place under construction in any situation but it could work out.

One question I have is, if you can run up to 3 phone numbers through the national do not call list, and if all 3 numbers come back as not being registered (aka, it is permissible to call), why do you need to register your business and pay any associated fees?

That is usually enough incentive for the roommates to find a workable solution themselves.If you had a clause in your rental agreement about unauthorized occupants and the boyfriend moved in without your permission, then you could have effectively addressed it then as a lease violation.

We did, however, wait until we closed before signing lease & taking deposit... just in case financing or something fell through and we couldn't close.If it is vacant, most sellers probably aren't going to mind a bit if you ask permission to advertise and show it.

Yes it'd be a short sale if the seller sold for less than what the house is worth and I believe they'd need the lender's permission to do so.
