Our first one is about a block away and the other two are a few blocks away and close enough together that I can show people apartments at both if I have similar units coming up.  

I find the craigslist map search gives me the best block-by-block comparison in a place where being only .5 mi away, but on the "wrong" side of a certain street can make all the difference in the world.  

Did they not think that at some day, someone would have to open up that wall or take out the medicine cabinet and there would be a huge block of rusty old blades back there???

If house A and house B are on the same block and house A is remodeled and house B is run down, it will essentially say house B is worth way more than it is, and it will undervalue house A. 

I enjoy walking down different blocks, and really get to slow down and get to know the neighborhood.  

I know there's at least 10 within five blocks of my house.

It is not in a floodzone, two blocks from a nice park, two blocks from a bustop that takes you into the city in 38 minutes.

So I guess what I'm asking is whats the best way to find people that have been around the block in the wholesale world and what should I say to them.  

I was surprised to find that their is a person registered as a sexual offender about a block away from the home I am currently leasing.
