Power wash buildings, trim trees, paint signs or doors, caulk windows, put down new mulch or pine straw,  etc.

I love doing the physical work (kitchens, trim, flooring, etc), but I simply can't manage any more.  

@Brandon Turner, I have heard you talk about oak trim "throwing up" all over the house.  

Everyone is going to have a different definition of finishing materials, but I'm generally referring to:- Appliances- Light Fixtures- Plumbing Fixtures- Flooring (Carpet, Tile, Wood)- Cabinets- CountertopsThe things I generally consider building materials, and ask my contractors to provide, include:- Lumber- Plywood- Siding- Roofing- Gutters- Paint- Rough electrical components- Rough plumbing components- HVAC components- Fasteners- Trim (Sometimes I'll provide this)- ConcreteI know some people categorize differently, but that's how I do it.

As it was brick the exterior was in good shape with minimal work required except on the trim and the garage, however, the interior had been updated for 30 years, so everything had to be redone.

Right now I am planning for snow removal, tree trimming and road maintenance.  

** I forgot to mention above that we have to install baseboard trim in the kitchen as well. 

@Joshua Dandridge , I'm seeing three different colors of trim in the home.

There's no fat to trim.  

Tans won't show dirt like white or even dark colors.I'd stay with the neighborhood color scheme as well and use trim colors to make a difference and curb appeal.
