The idea being I buy it from them,  give them access to that land with the easement,  and there's no need to move fences.

Now I'm wondering if that is right.Not sure it matters, but another part of this is I am unable to access the "cash value" funds the insurance paid me because my bank (who has mortgages on the properties) has them "locked/froze" until the work is completed or as the work is completed).

I am looking to buy a multi-family here in Japan with a partner - He is a US citizen who is bringing some valuable connections and resources and I am providing access to financing.What we are thinking of doing is starting a Gōdō gaisha and then I will get a loan for the property based on my salary and residency status and then transfer the property into our company.

My Chase Saphire Reserve card gives me 3 points for every dollar I spend on travel/dining, which equates to 3% back in value, plus all the ancillary things I get from the card like free airport lounge access, free rental car insurance, auto rental upgrades, TSA precheck.Most of my spending is on dining/bars, so I use that to get the better return.

You don’t need a real estate license to “learn how real estate work”.Having one will not hurt and will give you access to MLS but you don’t need one depending on your goals..
