There's nothing that stipulates if you do something against their 'rules' what exactly their remedy is, and whether or not there's options for any penalties such as the property owner association repairing the problem and billing you etc., and local authorities aren't authorized to do anything without a court order.

How to transition from a fixer lead to a retail lead also needs sharpening, and maybe the listing agent could help with this - I'm currently thinking of something along the lines of "The property isn't quite what I"m seeking, but it looks like you could get full market value if it were listed....and I know someone that would work hard for you that I could put you in touch with."

Not saying they can't seek a full payoff, but the justification to do so will be harder, and I'd bet they won't, especially if the interest rate on the note is higher than the current rate.Later on, you can do a sub-2, effective when the mortgage is paid off.See your attorney, then call the bank back.....good luck!

I wouldn't pay off the car loan only because those docs usually have some disguised pre-payment penalty that makes it unwise to do so.
