Thanks for the insight and I'll stay away and keep working w/ hard money lenders.Just weird because I don't get why people would try to do this since they are the ones "giving away money" and not taking it but people scam for anything these days so not surprising. 

This is the oldest attempted scam on banks there is, they were trying this at least 50 years ago.  

I wouldn't say you're naive so much as becoming aware that most wholesalers don't have a clue or, it could be they are trying to scam you.

Some posts on BP are useless scam or product promoting and some are helpful.

A really, really common scam is that I give you a check.

Tried getting a 3D printer from there on the real cheap, but it was a scam by the manufacurer.It is great you are trying to diversify though. 

I was recently e mailed from a person saying they worked for these folks www.temporaryaccommodations.net Has anyone ever heard of these folks or are they a SCAM?

We need someone to call the SEC and warn them about this group because they are trying to raise money from seniors with a new scam.

He is not looking to get any income from this at the moment.You can virtually do anything without trying to scam IRS with properly drafted agreement even with 0% payout to him and very little contribution from him.
