Open to ideas on destinations... where can you give me the best inside scoop?

The rental market here is very strong overall, but we are not a destination city, just a good ol' Midwestern city.

Regardless of whether or not the boat goes out on cruises, it will need lots of maintenance ($$$) to keep it looking good and from degrading mechanically.

The destination might seem like the goal, but I assure you the journey is far more exciting.

from my point of view crash and acceleration of economy are more like a big train or container ship or cruise ship.when you start to bring it to a halt it takes time and miles and miles to do so inertia is too great.we saw this with the GFC the worst crash basically in history .. 

Focusing on vacation destinations without heavy-handed STR regulation is the key.
