You can become “rich” by trading your hours for money but you won’t be wealthy.

There are plenty of extremely wealthy dumb people that own very expensive real estate that have left them totally empty.

I have never heard of anyone becoming wealthy without the support of their spouse.

Many folks do not become wealthy because they invest in real estate, in fact, probably most of the landlords that I've met that are not on BiggerPockets are very wealthy because they worked hard in their careers and invested in real estate on the side for years.
