I live in an area with 100+ year old properties and one big challenge is the property is grandfathered into the building code, because universal building code was established in the 1970's.

I have bought a bunch of property from banks and they don't play any games.

I called my local bank I do business with and they say I have to establish more credit and also have 20% down to get a investment loan for property is there any other avenues to go , this kinda discouraged me but I refuse to let that stop me so any help would do.

I think he is going to stay in the property as long as he can and game the system by paying last minute.
