I was watching an interview with Kevin O'leary (Sharktank) where he was making the same observation to a young investor and how he personally wouldn't leverage as much in real estate as that investor was doing; however, he ended the conversation by saying that we do invest in what we understand and that investor, that Kevin was talking to, had been a real estate agent before so he understood that form of investing.We shouldn't put all our eggs in one basket, but I would definitely target real estate as a prime place to put your finances for long term wealth and growth.

Hey there,I've made an offer on  property from 1959 and it was accepted.Now I realize  there is an underground storage tank- that was used either for oil or fuel, and I don't know what to do.I understood from my agent , that it must be filled with gravel/earth (if it's not filled already) and then it is not a problem.But , I'm still worried - what can be the outcome of buying a house for buy&hold with this tank?

@Bill Gulley and @Steve Babiak you guys are right, he does say wholesaling, but i was just curious on my end as far as buy and hold and also for other people that may be reading this, knowledge is a powerful thing if what is out there is understood correctly. especially in the context asked and for options that were not thought of.good to learn something every day
