The 10 year maturity date is where the HELOC will modify into a different product all together.

These could be specific products with national credit tenants that are crafted with the safe harbor of rev proc 2002-22 in mind. 

I'm not entirely sure the product continues to be developed given their asset tracking still says "coming in 2017" but the site continues to operate so I'm going to reach out to the company to see where things are at and whether there's legitimate concern over the product shutting down.

The 30yr mortgage is by far the best financial product out there.
