What kills me is that when I explained this to our contact at the local visitors bureau - the guys who try to attract businesses to come and do conferences in Denver - they had nothing to say and offered no help in getting us set up.

Are there particular things (like college or significant business that has regular visitors) you would want to make sure to have there?

We didn't know if we would have any bookings at all since it's in the "middle of nowhere" (which is what we named our space.)We have had a pretty steady stream of visitors over the past year and a half we've been doing it.

Both countries are more suitable for a buy to hold, must say that the the prices in Sofia increased significantly over the past 6 months. 

The Norada website has descriptions and fundamentals for each market they operate in, which is a good place to start.After you find a suitable market, you need to determine what your criteria for the property is (price range, neighborhood quality, size, age, etc.).

As such, it is not suitable for investors.
