For the first time in a long time I caught a mouse this afternoon.

Also, I had 2 meetings scheduled that afternoon.

This afternoon I got the rental license for the property which has been transferred from the previous owner's name to my name.

and 40 years later I still see him (in my head) mowing the lawn at one of the places on a Saturday afternoon.
