But when we walked through the house we discovered that 2 of the 3 bedrooms were really just one bedroom split in half by a glass door and only one half had a closet. 

Too bad they are blasting the AC with 110 desert heat, and leaving windows and sliding glass door open all day. 

If you are a glass half empty type you want to cash out and leave,  usually because that is their best retirement plan. 

If I ever noticed one of their tenants standing in the parking lot on a regular basis, staring at me and my kids in our fenced backyard or into the house through the sliding glass door window, I’d be extremely creeped out and feel unsafe in my home.

Young, healthy people are dying, too, and feeling as though you've got glass in your lungs is not pretty.  

in this market to expect all your money back and to be positive 200 a month is a pretty tall order.people get 200 a month when they put 20 to 30% cash equity into the homes.. hard to have your cake and eat it to.. or you need to TAKE the risk of buying paper tigers..

Example someone on the cell phone looking down seemingly unaware of their surroundings versus a person walking tall, head up, scanning the area as they walk. 

I look back on some of my first logging jobs in the early 90's and there are already nice little stands of timber coming up 20 feet tall or more its a renewable recourse.  

I got a tall order for 2020 and setting the bar very high for myself!

Don't be afraid of putting some cheese on a cutting board with a couple of glass of wine on the counter for the photo, that's staging.
