Morgan I am very interested in hearing more about what areas to look in a partner and I are currently in Oregon but we are doing a BRRRR in Birmingham Alabama and open to other areas.

I have 2 properties, one in Alabama and one in Georgia, that I leased to own to an investor a few years ago and had 7 years left on the contract. 

@Al Pat I totally agree with three to six months CAPEX.

We both are engineers currently in Spanish Fort, AL.

My wife is getting certified for the AL business and our partners are open to showing us the ropes to help us get started.

Hello, I'm new to the community (first post, but longtime lurker)...torn between purchasing first home (in MD) or first rental property (in Huntsville, AL).

I chose in order TX, GA, MO, TN, VA, MI, and AL.

We used Matt Elliott at First Bank of Alabama for our financing.

With regards to Subject 2 in Alabama, my plans are to immediately get from under the previous owner’s mortgage as I could get better rates and terms.Subject twoing the property was the best option as owner didn’t want to wait on me to obtain traditional mortgage.So, the question is since I’m acquiring the deed, I can immediately, within 30 days to get a mortgage on this property in my name?
