A lot of joinery techniques from pockets screw/rabbets and I have grown a passion for woodworking/interior design during the process. 

My son is a finish carpenter and does Very nice work on higher end projects and that is his skill set.. he is a pure tradesman and fine wood worker.

The old gas gravity furnaces do not have very many parts to break and they heat even if the power is out.It does have beautiful cross-cut oak woodwork, hardwood floors and most of the original windows (some even still have the old bubbly glass)-- eleven windows in each one bedroom apartment.

Or there's a half sibling nobody knows about that might pop out of the woodwork, something title insurance would cover. 

Yet another friend that taught himself woodworking and now sells custom dining room sets to very wealthy people.  

In my spare time, I write about personal finance, dabble in wood work, shoot at the range, and pick up the occasional video game.I'll see you all on the forums!

I grew up doing construction and ended up gravitating to high end wood work.

There are old farts like me that will come out of the woodwork to help a young guy out;  Josh is right, go to every REI you can find.  

One week ago, this tenant has come out of the woodwork wanting to sue me over continued mold growth (about 5 spots, the size of the palm of your hand).

I spend my normal working days as a Chef and hobby hours as a guitarist, wood worker,  bodybuilder,  so many things it's almost ridiculous.
