After I gain the experience, I would be more ready to do this with less and less support. What I am reading from you is that you work with brokers who will pass onto you 50% of the commission they make from buying or selling one of your properties.Eg: Buying a property of 400k, would translate into 10k of commission for the buying agent. This means my buyer agent will only get 5k and will need to split it with his managing broker at 60/40.This is just 3k of commission for the agent.I question how much effort on selling my property will an experienced agent put into, just for 3k.RegardsMarc

Hi everybody, This "issue" was further complicated by the tenants not speaking English and requiring their 11 year old daughter to translate things like late fees, disconnection, etc.The tenant ended up paying the bill and the former owner officially had their account closed, so all's well that ends well. Thanks to everyone for their advice!

Translation: home inspectors are required to tell you a potential problem exists but not allowed to tell the extent unless they are certified to go into more detail.

Call me a cynic, but in my experience a local saying “I’m just looking for a quiet weekend with my beau” can be translated directly to “I’m going to invite 30 people over, trash your house, and if all goes well the police will be called and you’ll have to pay your cleaners more than you earned on this booking.”
