I don't think we are going to be able to sustain the same high trajectory of increasing housing prices but I don't think we will see them coming down either, I more or less see this as a new normal and will start to plateau or gradually increase at normal rates.

While most flipper would give advice on the technicality, i would say flip reward/risk is created when you purchase and the future market trajectory based on external factor, such as inventory and/or future interest rate movement. 

That same trajectory in valuation also occurred for the stock market at the same time.  

Even if this conflict dies down and doesn't directly impact the US, we're on a very bad trajectory with inflation.
