These types of scenarios can tilt the cost/benefit ratio in favor of "reaching a bit" to have access to a Solo 401(k).My point is that so much of the marketing hype around the Solo 401(k) overlooks the very important premise that just because the Solo 401(k) is cool, that does not make it the best option for all investors.

You might consider buying spare filters, so when you go for a maintenance visit, you can just swap in a clean one and take the old one back with you to wash later.They should tilt towards the outside of the house a little bit, so the condensation drips out the back.

Avoid filling the kitchen with complicated devices like a simple coffee pot instead of a fancy espresso machine, a hand blender instead of a Tilt-head mixer with six attachments, or a  Crock-Pot instead of an Instapot that can be complicated or dangerous.As for sleeping arrangements, I recommend an "ideal" number of guests and a maximum.

HELOCs, aren't necessarily risky either but they come with a few extra variables, adjustable rates, draw and pay-back periods, some come with early payoff fees...but they can be replenished and re-used over and over during the draw period so that might tilt the scale for you.
