Being in IT as well, I usually value products based on price, meeting the need, scalability or automation and overall simplicity of use.Pick a product too complicated and watch your property manager or real estate partner on a deal cringe every time they use it.

@Cameron Tope I understand what you're saying, but two things to remember: 1) At the level you're now at, this is the best way to grow your portfolio and the number of Units you own; and2) Buying larger properties comes with scalability of costs.

The largest obstacle I'm facing now is the scalability, which is notoriously S L O W if you're looking to acquire properties or portfolio's with traditional savings from your 8-5; I've been exploring SFR portfolio listings as well as apartment complexes and I'm looking to connect with investors either in a similar situation or that can provide advice on making the jump to larger investments.

It is a very interesting point of view, I have friends who invest in cheaper markets such as TX and have multiple properties and multiple problems, in terms of simplification and growth if we choose to invest in higher cost properties and therefore greater generation of monthly cash flow It is scalable in time.What area of California are you currently focused on with your strategy?
