Tomorrow the final coat will be applied, and by the day after the handyman and I will be able to walk on it and start doing finishing jobs like fans, lighting, quarter rounds, and blinds.We also have a tenant lined up with the lease due to be signed this Friday, at the hoped-for rate of $650/mo.

If your rental is located on a back street that doesn't have a lot of traffic, you may be able to use a bandit sign on a close by busy street to alert passer byes that a rental is available round the corner, or something like that.

We also made sure it was extra clean when the next round of tenants came to see it and accomodated showings.With the exception of what Michaela said about accepting too much rent upfront, I wouldn't necessarily rule them out.
