When one is using other people's money to run an investment business, reputation and integrity is the highest priority in my book.

I entered into a contract with a reputable builder ( at least I thought at first) in SW Florida.

If the report is from a reputable credit reporting agency and includes all the information I require, I see no reason not to accept it.

In your case though, you have to be careful when it comes to risks as there's other people's money on the line, as well as your reputation and your ability to raise money in the future.Hope this helps.

This is a very sensitive question @Yongming Huang but all I will say it that the barrier to entry as a Real Estate Agent is very low, hence the poor reputation for some agents. 

My daughter and son-in-law opened their own business 3 years ago and so far have done well, but he built a good reputation in his field before starting their own, she kept her good corporate job for benefits, and they are now looking to invest in property with the profits, hoping for more passive income in the future as they’ve realized how much extra work a small business is with compliance, licenses, workers comp, etc.

Talk to realtors or others in the area who have their own reputation to protect.I have also often used large trade specific contractors like Michael and Sons here in Richmond.
