Maybe check your local RE groups or check Meetup for any local RE event. 

I've been googling different CRM programs and something called Mindjet but they are so expensive to buy (at this time) because I am just regrouping and I don't feel comfortable with my finances exposed in "the cloud".

You would be better off going to a local RE group and using the 41k to invest 

You do not need to defend your work unless it needs it and if it does that is when you need to regroup.

Make up your own mind, and if you fail pick up, regroup and try again.

I have a flip going on the market today and I'm considering selling my rentals to regroup to make better cash flowing deals.

Will just regroup I guess.
