We could probably find a way for me (the wifey) to reside in a property out of state in order to satisfy the primary residence requirement while the hubs is as school, but I wouldn't want to stretch our time apart any more than 6 months.

most of bel air would be considered higher end compared to the immediate areas around APG (Aberdeen proving grounds).Bel air is the largest city in the county ( and oldest I believe) and has always been the hub of economic activity.

@Rebecca Cirisan @Paul ParkerThat will prove to be a tough gig in the Toledo market mate.We have been based here for 4 years now and finding good enough people has been a hassle.Toledo is a smaller region unlike the bigger hubs so good talent and reliable folks are harder to come by.Much success

Of course there will be boom/bust cycles in both tech and RE, but SF is the hub of technology and it is eating the world (for better or worse).Supply and demand- given the above bullet, markets are built on supply and demand.

Downside: Chase points don't transfer over to OneWorld partners, which means that even though I'm in Atlanta I don't typically fly Delta... so for example, when flying to Europe I usually go Lufthansa which requires a transfer through Frankfurt, and when flying to Japan I tend to go through a United Hub like SFO, IAH, or something like that.
