In a resort style place like you are looking at, often more than one unit is owned by a single owner.

    - Curios about STR's - Located Grand Rapids MI -WANT TO START A REAL ESTATE DYNASTY I see myself as an advantage player in the real estate game as I have a few helping connections from my current business and a lot of knowledge on improving homes, managing clients, and building a business.  

I'm looking at condos that are part of hotels/resorts, for occasional personal use (I travel a lot and need a place to come back to), and to have STR income when I'm away.

Yeah, on the other side of the nickel, the hotel websites don't tell you about their 15% occupancy tax, $20 a day to park, and the $30 a day resort fee.  

I was told that offerings that we see on sites like fundrise may be inexperienced or not the best syndicators that may prey on inexperienced investors who don't have the ability to participate in syndications because of a lack of substantial capital and that capable syndication operators would not resort to posting on sites like that because they have a group of investors that trust them and they don't have to share a fee to the site.

All organic, all off-market, all free, all people that fight each other to get to me, without me lifting a finger every single day.Again, how many of you want success, don't have it (yet), and resort to free info to get it?

I think it's some of the same players and sounds like a deal I'm being pitched..
