I’m here to make friendships and learn!

In a world that often requires career specialization (I'm finance), I am looking to start focusing my networking on friendships / mentorships that help round out my knowledge and skillset. 

Many times they have helped care for the pets, but that was just out of kindness and the relationship/friendship we built while living together.

I went to college - great fun, friends, social... what a waste of money tho, other than that.But really, where else can you go to build life long friendships living a shared reality during the physical peak of your adult life?

Money and partnering can RUIN friendships just as much as they can profit from it.Especially considering the health issues.

im new in the real estate investment world and been in classes to learn investment strategies...in saying that I ran across a situation with a friend who is currently backed up in mortgage payments (about 4200 ) ... i want to help ..my question is....could I do a wrap around mortgage to help them ...and would I be able to structure a strategy to help them and make money in return without ruining our friendship?

I don't do Christmas cards or gifts with tenants, I just want to keep it business, not personal...As great as they are, I know they can go bad and I don't want the entanglements of "friendship" to hinder what has to be done.

But also be aware that many friendships don't survive a roommate arrangment.

I am always looking for new friendships and new opportunities.
