My question for the BP community is:By taking fractional ownership of a large deal (let’s say 10% of a 100-unit deal), and sharing the deal with partners, you are in a sense truly “owning” 10 units.

So many unique high-end boutiques and fancy restaurants would make you think you are in California.All of this for a fraction of a cost compared to a city like SF.

It would be a fraction of the cost of the materials to rebuild your property, but it wouldn't cover all of the materials.  

Ergo you have the ability to fractionalize the note.

Eventually, we plan to transfer title to an LLC that we fractionally own.

Reality is that a security deposit is really just a fraction of what damage can be done, and if someone lived there for 2 decades, there is a lot of wear and tear damage I am sure.
