If you put stainless steel appliances, tiled floors in the bathroom and kitchens, finish the basement, and put granite in the kitchen and are in a half decent neighborhood, your units will rent a lot quicker.

I put new tile flooring throughout, added a closet to make a 3rd bedroom, new appliances, new paint, new counter tops, refinished cabinets and added new hardware, gutted and updated bathrooms, landscaped outside plus lots demo, fixed a roof leak, sheet rock work ect.. for $13,500.

Hello Biggerpockets,I’m in the process of closing on a house in Killeen and wanted to know if anyone had a painter, tile guy and a foundation company (pier and beam) that they have used in the past.

floors already demoed, about 80 sqft on floor and about 50 sq in the shower, it also needs demo in the shower.List of work: demo the showernew toilet, tile floor in shower, baseboards, thin set, baseboards, labor  $2300.00.  

Also, with the bathroom-- we often do a pretty tile back splash above it, just to give it some color! 

Being a self employed tile contractor I cannot predict exactly what I can save.

Or  should I attempt to isolate the problem if it can be resolved with removing just a few wall tiles?

I did pretty much all the work myself and did kitchen cabinets repainting and added finishes, added subway tiles to the front wall and back splash, added laminate through out the house, painted, and fixed up the yard and cleaned the privacy fence and painted the outside trim of the house and so on.

The house currently has tile throughout, however, the br are different color tile than the hall, and the 1 bath has a different color tile than the br.
